Our Founder & Designer

Ryanna (Rye-annuh) whose middle name “May” constitutes half of our namesake, has a life of experience creating jewelry. 

Since she was a child, she has designed and built stretch, string, and wire stranded jewelry for herself and others, answering to a desire for stylish beaded jewelry that competes with high end designs and materials. After almost 30 years of developing her techniques, she decided to start May and Moon in late 2023. With less than a year in development, May and Moon has expanded its team to include several family members who craft our products, operate, and manage all sides of this growing brand.

Ryanna is a multi-faceted business owner who engages in many areas of design from interiors, fashion and home design. She volunteers within her community and abroad, focusing on facilitating and participating in sustainable programs meant to create a better world for children.

 

Our Team

Our Maker Team consists of two of Ryanna’s sisters and adopted daughter Arrow, whose middle name “Moon” constitutes the other half of May and Moon.

Our team of sisters (and daughter) support May and Moon through designing, crafting pieces, fulfilling shipments, and managing our social media & BLOG. They are integral to sustaining our quality control and other practices that give you the quality and uniqueness of May and Moon.

Our products are thoughtfully crafted in limited quantities in Lake Stevens, WA.
